Here at Ottenby Vandrarhem & Camping you live in the middle of a world heritage site, Södra Ölands Odligslandskap, rich in historical finds and nature experiences, a paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Around the hostel there are plenty of paths and hiking trails, for comfortable walks and excursions, if you want to move a little faster but still enjoy nature, there are bicycles for rent.

Several excursion destinations such as Eketorps Borg, Karl X Gustafs Mur, Långe Jan lighthouse, Naturum and Ottenby Bird Station and for the sporty Grönhögens Links one of Sweden's most exciting golf courses are within a radius of 7 km from the hostel.
