celebrate midsummer the öland way

Midsummer is upon us here on the island of sun and wind! The Midsummer Pole is to be decorated with flower and leaf, strawberry cake are to be baked, and flower wreaths to be bound. Herring is to be pickled, and the accordion brough out of its case. Perhaps you also will sleep with seven kinds of flowers tucked under your pillow! Öland is a magical place to celebrate the greatest holiday of the summer on.
